Project Brief
My goal was to create typographic hierarchy within the dense document of “The United Nations: The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”
My original inspiration for the project was the Maslow Heirarchy of Needs pyramid because so many items within The Universal Declaration of Human Rights fit into Maslow’s pyramid.
Inspiration
From there I looked at tilted design work, as well as red, black, and white color palettes.
Process
The UN Declaration of Human Rights is a very dense document, so I started by organizing it by category. The next step was to give heirarchy to the most important items of the document through size, color, and rules.
